Music: TV On the Radio - Province

They met through their writing, sharing poems and stories for critique and praise. Their courtship was intense, filled with passion, art. She felt that he was a perfect counterpart for her odd and intricate manners. He knew that she complimented him in ways he had expected. Together, they harbored a special kind of love, a fun understanding of each other’s weakness.
But then it wasn’t enough, after 4 years, as the voices in the room grew louder, her need for more, his fear of failure led them to want what the other couldn’t offer. He left, and while admittedly, she did kind of push him away, she remains doubtful that he would’ve stayed had she not done so. For her, loves takes the shape of an evil, dark thing. It is the menace, the culprit, the thing responsible.
Change comes quick for the both of them. He grows lonely, she grows wary.

She met him through a friend in an empty nightclub. He was kind, caring and somewhat innocent; he was something completely unheard of to her, and the idea of having her close, was as foreign to him. Through patience and understanding they worked to conquer each other’s fears.
They shared simple, honest moments that brought them closer. He helped her understand that trust was possible, and that love was learnable, renewable within one person, that deep within the crack in her heart was a fire that needed kindling. She spends her days assessing how she, an overall mess in a chaotic world, was able to bring his courage and comfort this far.
Together, they stand on the edge of something marvelous.

One Woman. One life. One Song. Two Men. Two Meanings. Enjoy.

About This Blog

My small contribution to wide world of sharing useless, random, pointless, yet interesting information across the web. A shameless plug for my awesomeness. A collection of random and amazing things.

I write reviews, I write stories, I write about my daily occurences, I complain about everything. I have a few blogs throughout the world, but this one is my favorite, mostly because it's mine.

Words Of Wisdom

Both reading and writing are acts of supreme faith. They are both, in essence, a call to grace, a belief in the miraculous - that we might come to see through stories what we had not previously seen, that we might come to understand what had, before that moment, remained uncertain, undefined. The mask of fiction, of writing and reading stories, does not, in the end, disguise our faces but instead reveals who we really are. In the, stories acknowledge life's difficulty and sadness but insist that we go on anyway, that we always hold to our faith, to our belief in grace.
